as in evry oscar we too have one actress that win two prize. yes, you guessed right - the goddess, the only one : GINA GERSHON.

what can i say more? the movie is good (not like showgirls, that won, but in very different category....), even the other actors are good, but all in all we are talking here about the only one who really exist. no?

No. We're trying to talk about movies here. Oh-how-surprising it is for May to pick this movie as a monumental event. Ever since Gina Gershon got her goddess status overnight, she can't stop talking about her (That's May talking about Gina, not the other way around) and apart from that she'd never miss a movie with at least one lesbian character. And now, a movie in which Gina Gershon actually plays a lesbian had won her heart long before she even knew what it was about. The only reason I agreed to go along and give that Gina person another spot in the top 11 is that this is also, coincidentally, a very good movie.

but i can say something bad about this movie. it was supposed to be my first book/movie! the best idea in the world! we all love lesbians, we all love romance, we all love gina!

And some of us also like severed fingers.

where were we? oh, yes. we all love gina! okay. some of you saw the infamous argument in "romancing the fish". in the old days i was sure that i'm going to be the first one, but as always i was wrong. at least they picked the right goddess. we're talking about mob movie, bad people and good people, blood, and the smart, tough, handsome guy that saves the sweet, beautiful girl, in one small (i know, not all the time) difference - both the girl and the guy are played by women.

Very bad movie. Bad. Bad. And I'll keep saying this until you get off me.

Um... okay, I will. Very good movie, and I'm honest now. Surprisingly, even Gina Gershon proves that she's a pretty good actress (And Jennifer Tilly proves that she's got a very annoying voice). The cinematography is thought out and precise (he said as he pumped his pipe) and on the whole I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me that this is actually an early Cohen Brotheres movie.

in the movie, like in evry respectable movie, there is a very hot sex scene that features gina's belly! and i'm not saying that she's not smart or beautiful or just perfect, but the best thing about her is the belly. and to think that one day she will have a child that will come out of it.....

Completely ignoring my partner's latest comments, I'd like to say something about.. um... eh.. the excellent use of space in the movie! Yeah! Most of it is taking place in only two rooms, and it's done birilliantly. And yeah, the soundtrack is very scary, and... uh... the flash-forwards are nice... and... um...

yes. she have really nice breasts too.
