Days of the fall

It's been studied by tens of doctors. His brain waves were examined, his heart beat recorded, his fingernails checked, his DNA studied. No use. Nobody could explain why does Cosmo's legs occasionally stop supporting him, causing him to fall down in a very awkward sort of way. It's been suggested, of course, that this is one of the effects of spending too much time in space, but no explanation was offered as to what the hell does being in space have to do with someone's legs. Anyway, this is the situation. Cosmo had learned to live with that, and so did we; about once a minute he disappears, and appear again climbing from the ground, Like Maggy Simpson did in her old days. We hardly take notice of that anymore.
