How deeper can hollywood sink?

It's not even funny anymore, how successful this movie is. You probably heard all about it. It seems that everyone in the world have seen it already, except maybe a couple of budhist monks, and pretty soon they're going to shoot people in the street if they didn't see it. It's going to win every Oscar possible, it will probably pass Jurassic Park as the most successful movie ever, it's the most expensive movie ever made, etc. etc... when they will make next year's edition of "The Guinness book of movie records", they can save a lot of ink by just printing "Titanic" on the inside and leaving the rest of the book blank.

but they did use the money well. i mean there is a lot of movies not much less expensive and still they had to steal the fx from other movies. have a look in the ship prints and you will see that they made another titanic and sank her again, a bit ironic huh?

Wouldn't it be much less expensive to simply build a time machine and film it on the original Titanic?

it will be much less expensive just to shoot another movie.

But then what will we do with the time machine, leave it to rot? Make sense, kid.

Actually, if I know hollywood, they'd probably not use the material of the real sinking ship because it wouldn't look real enough. that may, however, explain where did the 200 million dollars go.

hmm... i still don't get something. it's hollywood right? how come they didn't have a happy ending to this story? do you think that someone will notice if the ship will make it this time?

That would make a surprising twist, yeah. But if you want to be really big, I think you don't need a happy ending. Gone with the wind didn't have one.

and they did kill all the bad guys in star wars.
