- Actually I think the last one was a good reason to see the movie.

well, you're probably right about the last one.... most of you wont go to this movie cause it's got opera in it, the opera fans won't go to this movie cause it's sci-fi, and the sci-fi fans wont go to this movie cause it's a junk sci-fi movie. and still a lot of people have seen the fifth element. why?

Because it's fun.

right! i love opera and sci-fi and i saw this movie 3 times!!

3 times is a bit too much, maybe. Though I think it's worth it just for watching that opera bit. But on the whole, it seemed like old Luc Besson really tried to make a bad movie, and accidentally came out with a really good one. Well, not Good good, it certainly won't be an Oscar nominee even in the "Best Best Boy" category, but Fun good.

this movie is a lot like a math drill, all this minuses give a plus in the end.

Profound. Very profound. Well, there's no lack of pluses: There's the wonderful Leeloo, who looks and sounds great even wearing normal clothes, there are special effects that looks like they were designed by some tired computer-graphics guy at a very late night hour and after having one too many beers, and there's a cute cast of supporting characters - the supergreen radio guy, the big bad boss guy, the confused priest and a bunch of nice aliens. And, of course, there's Bruce, who does a really good job of playing Bruce. Nothing to do about it - this guy will be John McKlean of Die Hard, no matter how many centuries into the future you're going to throw him.

wonder if he's like this at home too.....

I'm sure Demi can see right through the John Mcklean and see the soft and tender part of him.

i won't mind seeing her soft and tender parts.....

Oh, rent a video of Striptease. We're still talking about the 5th Element, and Demi's not on it.

if she was in it, it's probably would have got a higher place in this list!

no she wasn't half bad, but everyone already said too many times that she's perfect. she wasn't!! her tits was just to small.

One more remark about the movie: I think Luc did it as a slap in the face to Hollywood. Today, when most movies look like they've been written by 13-years old kids, he did a movie that's based on a story by a 13 years old kid. And looks like it. And is still much better than most anything else hollywood may give you.

so this is why leeloo have little tits, this is what he knew as a 13 years old boy.
