The late Capn. Conan

There's one more movie we have to mention here, at least as an honorable mention. Maybe "The best movie we haven't seen, but really meant to"

it was supposed to be a perfect night, 2 movies in a row.

(Don't get us wrong, we don't usually do it. One movie a week is usually enough for us. But that was at the Annual Movies That You Normally Can't See Anywhere Except This Kind Of Festivals Festival. So it had many strange movies, some of them even produced outside the United States. And we thought it a good opportunity to try to recover from our hollywood overdose.)

so we got into red-car and started driving. 2 minutes before we got to the theater i got a weird feeling. "red" i said. "i think i didn't bring the tickets"
"very funny, may" red said.
"not really red" i said almost crying now, "i really didn't bring them with me. i put then in the place that i will not forget to take them with me so of course i did".

Since we were almost at the cinema, there was no chance that we will be able to go home, bring the tickets and still make it to the movie, so we had to give up on the first movie of the two, which was Capitan Conan, which was supposed to be a really good french one, and we're not likely to ever see it again. I think Red Car enjoyed all this going back and forth, but except him, it was a pretty big let-down.

but we did got to sit in the little cafe and stare at the waitress before the second movie started.

And, from then on, whenever I forget to take money, or the car keys, or a vital part of my body, to somewhere, I can always answer to May's mocking and groaning, "Well, why don't we go see Capitan Conan afterwards?"
